- Be aware of Variable Measure Numbers, also commonly called Restricted Circulation Numbers.
- Understand the key on-pack placement considerations you should make in applying a 2D barcode during the transition phase and in future.
- Understand the rules in relation to Human Readable text.
- Understand the difference between static and dynamic data
- Be aware of the software requirements to scan the GS1 range of 2D barcodes during the transition phase
- Understand the key considerations in relation to printing 2D barcodes and barcode verification.

It is highly recommended that you complete 2D Barcode Basics, 2D Barcodes for Retail - An Introduction and 2D Standards Part 1 before commencing this course.
